Home Description: This Adult Care Home Facility has 3 Private Rooms and 1 Shared Room where everyone becomes part of our extended family! Home Away From Home was established in June 1995 to offer a home rather than an institutional environment for aging adults. Historically, we have averaged a high occupancy rate.The home covers approximately 2400 sq. ft. on 15000 sq. feet lot and a 20 ft. by 40 ft. swimming pool. The Operator lives on the property. This business was established to cater to the needs of senior citizens who are in need of personalized service & assistance, supportive services & lots of loving care. It is owned & managed by the Operator who has created a home-like setting with a caring & reliable staff. A license was issued by Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon. The facility has been suitably furnished to provide the homiest environment for each of its residents, a perfect alternative for seniors who are no longer able to reside in their own homes. Help is offered for daily activities & this home focuses on their wellness & encourages our residents to maintain their self-esteem & independence. Delicious meals are provided, along with social activities & arranged transportation. The meals are very diverse, nutritious and provide any diet directed by their physician. This home is licensed as a APD level III home. I have 29 years of experience in operating an Adult Care Home. I have worked with people on hospice, with many diagnosis such as dementia, Parkinson’s, cancer, diabetes, behavioral needs, incontinence, etc I have served residents who require tube feeding, use a wheel chair or are bed bound, and much more.
