Home Description:
Lupu Adult Care Home provides a cozy, nurturing atmosphere for its residents. The knowledgeable operator has been a registered nurse in the past, and has over 15 years experience providing personalized care.
Our mission is to promote the highest level of independence possible for each resident and to share God's love by providing shelter, and physical, emotional, spiritual nourishment and support to those who are in need. We are located in NE Portland near Glendoveer Golf Course.
Five private rooms with bathrooms are provided, also a centrally located activity and dining room and a secured backyard & multiple porches are available to the residents and their families year-round. Rooms are kept clean, are freshly painted in soft colors and are wired for private phone line and cable TV. Bedrooms are fully furnished but residents are encouraged to furnish and decorate their room as they please. Housekeeping and laundry are provided daily; our nourishing, delicious homemade meals are very much appreciated by our residents. We cater to each individual's choices.
We also encourage our residents to pursue interests and activities that allow them to maintain meaningful, fulfilling lives. Indoor recreational activities are available such as music, games, movies, socializing, arts and crafts. Outdoor activities include trips to the park, walks, and others by arrangement.
We have experience working with a variety of medical conditions such as Diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, CHF, Stroke, Multiple sclerosis, Wound care, and Hospice care. We can provide night time care. Our home accept private pay and welcomes those spending down to Medicaid to remain in the home.
