Home Description:
We currently have a vacancy for one resident in our spacious home sitting on a 1/2 acre lot in SE Portland. All bedrooms are private with shared bathrooms. In the living room there is a large television complete with Comcast cable (300+ channels) and Netflix, You Tube, etc. Each bedroom is equipped with a smaller television with their own cable box. Free WiFi is available for any devices that may be used. We have a large covered patio which is wheelchair accessible. Our staff encourages independent entertainment as well as socializing.
We are located close to a couple of parks. We are about 1 mile away from I205 highway, have convenience stores (7-11 and Plaid Pantry) at either end of our block. There is a Safeway store within walking distance. About 1 mile both North from us there is Mall 205 with lots of stores and restaurants, while approx 1 mile South from our house there is Eastport Plaza where WalMart was located along many other different stores and some of our favorite restaurants. Trimet Lines 4 and 9 routes stop at both ends of our street on Division Street and Powell Blvd., respectively. The Max Line is about 1 mile north of us on Burnside Street.
Games and puzzles are available and staff is more than happy to spend time with each resident, be it playing games, working on projects, putting together a puzzle, listening to music, going for walks/to movies, or just hanging out. If assistance is needed in the community staff is readily available for outings. For the most part our current residents enjoy their privacy. We believe that a potential resident who is looking for privacy would be a perfect fit for our home.
There are 2 household pets, a cuddly Chihuahua who lives inside, and a Great Dane who really loves our huge yard.
Meals are prepared with each resident's food preferences in mind and a weekly menu is made accordingly with everyone's input. Gluten and dairy free options are always available. Please consider viewing the attached video for additional pictures. Thank you.
